I've survived the first hurricane (a week without power really sucks guys) and the second one won't do much damage to my area up here (90 miles N of New Orleans). Normalcy, I'm coming to realize, is not such at all. It is simply a routine that besets itself in one's mind during periods of time without milestone events happening every few weeks. January to late August was "normal" for me and I don't know i'll ever be able to return to the same mindset.

On a positive note, I sprained my little toe, and I'm missing work. Thank God I have sick time, otherwise I'd be even further behind on my bills.

New internet connection = good things. New submissions coming. Yes. Indeed. Out.
